Hoya Carnosa 4"
Description
✦ The Plantry Plant Co. ✦
"The Hoya Carnosa is, in my considered opinion, one of the most rewarding long-term companions a plant parent can have. Patience is required — but when those porcelain flower clusters finally appear, you'll understand why we waited." — Mr. Phileas Plant
The Plant
The Hoya Carnosa — affectionately known as the Wax Plant — is a timeless treasure of the botanical world. Its thick, glossy leaves grow along trailing or climbing vines that can eventually produce stunning clusters of star-shaped, porcelain-like flowers with a sweet fragrance. Once a Hoya begins blooming, it flowers from the same peduncle year after year.
This is a well-established specimen with healthy, waxy foliage ready to trail from a shelf or climb a small trellis. A slow but deeply rewarding grower that improves with age — the plant equivalent of a fine wine.
