Description

✦ THE PLANTRY PLANT CO. ✦

"A small plant with a generous heart. The Bilobata will flower for you while still young and modest in size — neat little leaves, then a sudden burst of starry blooms. Few hoyas are so eager to please." — Mr. Phileas Plant

The Plant

Hoya bilobata is a petite Philippine wax plant with small, rounded leaves on slender trailing stems. It is known for blooming readily — even on young plants — producing tight clusters of tiny star flowers, often deep pink to red, with a light citrus fragrance.

Quick, compact, and floriferous, she is an ideal "first fragrant hoya" and a lovely small-shelf or hanging plant. (Worth noting for the curious: bilobata is frequently confused with the plant traded as "DS-70" — true bilobata is the smaller-leaved of the two.)
