The Plant
Peperomia obtusifolia 'Variegata' — the variegated Baby Rubber Plant — is a compact, thick-leaved peperomia grown for its glossy, succulent-like foliage splashed in cream and sage green, no two leaves patterned quite the same. Unlike true rubber plants, she stays small and rounded, storing water in those fleshy leaves the way a jade plant does — which makes her remarkably forgiving of a missed watering.
This is a full, established rosette with a dozen-plus variegated leaves and roots well underway. She's already at a nice shelf-ready size and needs nothing more than a bright window to keep that cream-and-green pattern coming on every new leaf.
