Description
✦ The Plantry Plant Co. ✦
"Ah, the Golden Pothos — the plant that has launched a thousand collections. Don't let its ubiquity fool you; a well-grown one, with gold brushed properly through the green, is a genuinely handsome thing. Familiar is not the same as ordinary." — Mr. Phileas Plant
The Plant
Epipremnum aureum, the Golden Pothos, needs little introduction: heart-shaped green leaves streaked and splashed with buttery gold, on a vine that grows quickly and asks for almost nothing in return.
This one is rooted in a clear cup of Fluval Stratum with healthy variegation already showing. Trail her from a shelf, or give her a pole — climbing pothos produce noticeably larger leaves.
Care at a Glance
☀️ Light: Bright indirect keeps the gold coming; she'll survive lower light but green up.
💧 Water: When the top inch of substrate is dry. She'd rather be dry than soggy.
🌡️ Humidity: Perfectly content in average household air.
🪴 Soil: Established in Fluval Stratum.
📏 Growth: Fast trailing or climbing — pinch tips to keep her full.
⚠️ Toxicity: Toxic if ingested — keep away from pets and children.
