The Plant
Hoya nummularioides hails from Southeast Asia — Thailand, Laos, Vietnam — and is prized as one of the more generous bloomers in the genus. Its small, soft, lightly fuzzed leaves grow quickly along trailing stems, and mature plants produce clusters of white star flowers with deep red centers that release a sweet fragrance, strongest in the evening.
